Between October 31 and November 2, 2025, we organized a family retreat together with the families we regularly meet with, under the theme “Resolving Conflicts in the Family.” Nine young families, eager for spiritual growth and maturity, took part in this special event.
The retreat was designed to offer the participating families a time of rest, fellowship, and spiritual growth in a natural setting that encouraged reflection and closeness to God. The chosen theme — “Resolving Conflicts in the Family” — aimed to equip the participants with biblical and practical principles for maintaining harmony and unity in their relationships.
We enjoyed a rich variety of activities, including:
* Thematic Bible studies on forgiveness, healthy communication, and reconciliation within the family;
* Times of worship and prayer, during which families brought before the Lord their challenges and needs;
* Group discussions and personal testimonies, which created a safe space for vulnerability, encouragement, and mutual learning;
* Outdoor activities and recreation time, which strengthened relationships among participants and fostered an atmosphere of joy and unity.
The event had a profound impact on all the families involved. Many participants shared that they were challenged to view conflicts differently — as opportunities for growth and for drawing closer to God. Steps toward reconciliation were taken, relationships were restored, and a renewed desire was born to continue the process of spiritual maturity within small Bible study groups.
The retreat was a blessed and edifying experience, bringing light, healing, and practical direction to the lives of those who attended. The blessed time concluded with a church service featuring testimonies, songs, and the preaching of the Word. We thank the Lord for His evident presence, for the unity among families, and for the deep work He accomplished in the hearts of all who were there.
Prayer Requests:
* Pray that the teachings received during the retreat will bear lasting fruit in every family.
* Pray for forgiveness, reconciliation, and healthy communication in all family relationships.
* Pray that the participating families would be lights and living examples in their communities, reflecting the love and peace of Christ.
*Pray for wisdom and discernment in planning future gatherings, so that more families may be blessed.
* Pray that the Lord would raise up strong families, united in prayer and service, and actively involved in His mission.
