My name is Alex Pastushak, and I am a preacher of the “House of Peace” Church and a radio host at “RadioM” in Chernivtsi. I am married to Nadia Pastushak and we have a son Mark.

I was born on June 16, 1990. When I was 11 years old I had a car accident which caused me a lot of injuries and broke my head. I was going to die. Doctors said that they couldn`t help or treat the fracture in my head. Fortunately, when I was dying, one doctor came to us from another city and made two very difficult and dangerous surgeries on my head. God sent him and saved me. It was a miracle, every one of the medical staff couldn`t believe their eyes that I was alive.

I grew up in a Christian family, my father was a pastor and had great influence on me. In 2004 I came to the Lord when I was 14 years old and in 2007 I was baptized in the “House of Peace” Church. Between 2012-2016 I attended the Irpin Biblical Seminary and graduated with a Bachelor of Pastoral Ministry.

Our ministry:

In 2014 I went to Egypt as missionary to serve for children camps and spread the Gospel in the Muslim culture. In 2015 after I had married, I and my wife Nadia went to Egypt again for a couple of weeks and served orphan children.

Since 2016 Nadia and I have served our own nation with the Gospel through the broadcast radio programs. We conduct family and spiritual programs. In 2017 God entrusted to me the responsible ministry as a regular preacher in the “House of Peace” Church.

Our vision:

To enlarge the Kingdom of God in our city and country in different ways. We have to fulfill the Great Commission: “ Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost…” (Matthew 28:19)

Our motto: “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

Our Strategy:

  • To be close to people and help them with their physical and social needs, developing and conducting various projects. For example, to give bread to homeless people or to visit old and lonely widows and widowers and help them clean up backyards and gardens.

  • To make the people disciples of Jesus Christ through youth meetings, children camps, and evangelizations.

  • To encourage and teach followers of Jesus and make them more like Him. As our Great Shepherd leads us by the hand, so we must do the same.

  • To spread the Gospel through the media, such as radio and online.
