1.      Hertz ministry

We regularly visit this church where we preach, chant songs, and tell poems. The members are very hospitable and glad to see us every time. They are hungry and thirsty for the alive Bread of God.

This month we had a holiday, one young couple married, that was a great joy for all church because they are the future of our community. We greeted them with blessing words and sang songs for their family.

2.      Radio ministry

We produced many programs, here are some of them:

Topic: Google or ask for advice? (Ex.15: 22). When we need to find out something, we immediately google it. This habit replaces our fellowship and counseling with church leaders. But the problem is that there are no filters on the Internet and instead of useful information you can read so much that you don't go to church anymore.

Topic: War and Peace (Rom. 14:19). There are crises in every family, but the problem arises when they drag on for a couple of years. Quarrels become a habit and then the spouses can no longer stop. How to mend relations, end the war and achieve the signing of a truce?

Topic: Who is Christ for you? (Matthew 16:16) One day Jesus asked his disciples: for whom do people and they themselves regard Him? Some believed that He was a prophet, Elijah, John, and Peter said: You are the Christ, the Son of the living God! And who is He to you?

3.      Listener testimony

Slavik

Listening to our radio, he called to deal with himself and rehabilitate himself after a suicide attempt. A girl, a common-law wife, left him, and so he decided to commit suicide ... But, by the grace of God, when he went to the stadium to say goodbye to life, a flock of dogs appeared and began to bark, which stopped him ... Then he went away from dogs and, in another place, he wanted to say goodbye to life, but suddenly, out of nowhere, the police came (detained drug addicts) ... After all this, Slavik sobered up, and realized that it was not an accident that God Himself intervened. Slavik remembered about God, as he attended the Salvation Army as a child, and retreated as a teenager. During our conversation, we talked about how to live on, how to pass this life test. Despite the fact that Slavik believed that now there is emptiness in his life, and he did not want to do anything, it turned out that not everything is so sad, and we outlined many victories that Slavik had managed to win over the past two days, and the guy perked up, and looked differently at the present situation. We agreed that he will write down his victories and thoughts about further actions in changing his life, and will prayerfully approach any undertakings in life. We invited him to say a prayer of repentance, but the young man admitted that he was not ready now, but wanted to go to church. They recommended a church where he can turn. We continue to pray that Slavik will find real life in the Lord.

4.      Prayer needs:

• For our radio ministry to reach more people and to have more influence on their lives

• For our Hertz church may God strengthen physically and spiritually all members.

•  For my deacon ministry in the Chernivtsi Church

• For the health of my family may God protect us from diseases

Ministry in Hertz city

I send to you heartfully greeting and blessings. May God`s grace and mercy come down upon you. Thanks for your prayers, help, and support of the mission in Ukraine.

1. Service in Hertz

With God's help, I started attending a church in the city of Hertz. Every Sunday my brothers and I from our Chernivtsi church visit a small congregation in Hertz. All church members are very happy to be remembered and appreciated that they are visited with an interesting program. This is a native church for me, I came here with my father for 10 years. My wife and I sing, recite poetry and preach.

2. Radio ministry

We conducted several programs on the following topics:

Topic: How to respond to injustice? (2Sam.22: 26,27). The usual reaction is anger and resentment, but Jesus reacted very differently when He was wrongly accused. In a world full of injustice, we are deceived every day, but the Bible teaches not to revenge, but to forgive.

Topic: Happiness loves silence (Gen. 39: 2). With the development of social networks, personal life has become public, people post absolutely everything on the Internet: how they get up in the morning, what they eat, how they go to work, etc. How much do you need to open yourself to the public and where is the border of private life?

Ruslan

Ruslan called us with tears. He buried his mother today. Father died earlier, and now he is very lonely and so bad that he wants to go and hang himself, because he can no longer return anything. An understanding of his mistakes comes to him, the realization of how many tears he caused to his mother ... he pours out his soul to us and cries. We told him about Christ and His love for him, that He forgives absolutely everything. During our fellowship Ruslan decided to repent and dedicated his life to God. He also agreed to contact the minister, and accepted recommendations to listen to certain preachers on the Internet. He said that after communication and prayer, "his soul felt better," and he thanked us very much for helping him to remove this burden from his soul. He saw our phone on the calendar above my mother's bed. So the mother left a helping hand to her son even after death.

4. Prayer Needs:

- for families and their needs in the Hertz`s church and for their unbelieving relatives and neighbors

- for my family and wife, that God helped her to recover spiritually and physically after experiencing grief

- for our preparation for the Christmas holidays, so that many people come to the service and hear the Word of God

- for me and my ministry, so that God would give wisdom, His knowledge, and strength to carry the Good News for people

God saved us from the sin of murder

I send to you heartfully greeting and blessings. May God`s grace and mercy come down upon you. Thanks for your prayers, help, and support of the mission in Ukraine.

God has given me a new responsible ministry in our church. He entrusted me with the building and caring about His Body. I was ordinated for the deacon ministry. I am thankful to God that He has called me and led me for that. I ask to pray for me that I can be devoted, faithful, and sacrificial for Jesus Christ.

We had a terrible situation and a fairly difficult temptation. That was the worst period in my life like a valley of dark death. My wife Nadia was pregnant and in the 5th month of pregnancy, the water has begun to outflow but very slowly. Day to day the water was pouring out and finally after two weeks the baby left without water at all. It was like a slow death. Doctors said that we must make an abortion because my wife might die too. But we didn’t want to kill the baby because it was still alive and we could feel its moves. On the other side, the wife`s life was in danger. I could lose her too. I could not sleep all those nights. What do I need to do? What is the best decision in such a case? There were terrible nights for us. We know that abortion is a sin before God and we don`t want to do that. But all doctors had been forcing us for that to saving the life and health of my wife. We prayed and then said to them no. Then they replied if you don’t want to make a surgery so go home and die both. We believe that only God gives life and only He can take it back. So we decided if God wants to take the baby to Himself let it be, and let He take its life back but not we. We went home and on the second day, we went back to the hospital with the contractions of pregnancy. It had started usual childbirth. God started that. It was a miracle because anybody can not have contractions in the fifth month of pregnancy. It was the answer from God that He takes a baby`s life by Himself. So He saved us from the sin of killing a baby.

During childbirth, my wife lost a lot of blood. The baby was born dead. It could not live because its body and the lungs were not ready for that. After that my wife felt bad because her level of hemoglobin decreased significantly by 60 points (norm is 120 g / l), she could die. So the doctors made the Blood Transfusion to her to save her life.

Praise the Lord that He saved my wife and she is alive. I would not overcome if they died both. It is God`s mercy for me and for Mark our son that he still has his mother.

Please, pray for our family, and especially for my wife Nadia may God strengthen her and console her heart.

He turned from devil to God

I am grateful for your prayers and support of our ministry in Ukraine.

1. Radio broadcasts

• Topic: Invincible Faith (Heb. 11: 1). Various difficult circumstances in life take our attention away from God, this vanity and the material world carries us away and takes our heart. But how not to break down and be faithful to God to the end?

• Topic: Serving with love (Gal. 5:13). The family has many tasks and responsibilities, but the main one is to serve each other with love. Jesus came not to be served, but to serve and give His life for others. Love is not about receiving, but about giving.

• Topic: End of Darkness (Matthew 24). Now the Internet is overflowing with video warnings that next year there will be great tribulation and in seven years Christ will come. Many believers believed this and are sending these videos to each other. But is it true? When will Jesus actually come, and how will you prepare for it?

2. Testimony of the listener

Vladimir several times contacted us on our line of trust. At first, he introduced himself as Nikolai, but during the conversation, he opened up and gave his real name... The man was overcome by suicidal thoughts: "I want to kill myself, but I understand that this is a sin before God ..." Several months ago he returned from work from Africa "I am not myself": "I have sinned greatly, have departed from God and God is now mocking me." The man blamed himself for practicing the occult. He said that he had no strength for anything, he could no longer work, his soul was apathy and depression. He blamed God for giving him an alcoholic wife, "cheating" himself that his daughter did not love him and his mother did not understand that he was alone, without friends ... We, as consultants, patiently listened to him and prayed. Vladimir was surprised: "Are you not tired of listening to me? Usually, everyone speaks to me a lot, rarely does anyone listen, but you listened ... somehow unusual." When the man felt better, he managed to transfer his attention from problems to God. We talked with him that it is the devil, not God, that mocks him and that God wants his life, not death. We said that God had long since accepted his repentance, but Vladimir did not forgive himself ... Following us, he decided to repeat the prayer of repentance ... We continue to pray for this man.

3. Prayer needs:

- Pray for me and my ministry. In two weeks I will get ordination of deacon ministry in our church. May God bless me to be faithful and dedicated to Him.

- Pray for our family may God protect us from the virus.

- Pray for our ministry on the radio so that more people will learn about God and be able to accept Him and change their lives

- Pray for my wife and all our family. My wife was pregnant but now we lost our baby by premature birth. It was born and immediately died.

A difficult time in Ukraine

I am grateful for your prayers and support of our ministry in Ukraine.

1. Radio broadcasts

• Subject: I want revenge (Rom. 12:19). We are often offended and treated unfairly, and we really want to stand up for ourselves and respond in kind. The Bible says that we should give vengeance into the hands of God so that He will intercede for us.

• Topic: What guides me? (Eph. 5:18). When we give in to feelings, we are guided by anger, envy, jealousy, etc. The Bible says that it is better to be filled with the Holy Spirit and be led by Him.

• Topic: How to survive if we are different? (Genesis 2: 18-22). Will a family in which the spouses are radically and diametrically opposed can last long? Which union is better: 100 percent identical or different people? If God pairs up, then nothing can destroy it, neither character, nor nerves, nor circumstances. The love of God covers everything and builds up a marriage for the better.

2. Fact about Ukrainian culture

Western Ukraine suffers from severe floods. Annual precipitation fell in a few weeks. It rained all day. Dykes, bridges were torn down, roads, people's houses were demolished, vegetable gardens, fields and greenhouses were flooded. The damage is impossible to calculate. Everything that people accumulated over the years and that they grew for living and selling, everything disappeared in a few hours. Now people have nowhere to live and nothing to eat. You watch the video, the footage is like from an apocalypse movie.

3. Social problem and ways to solve it

There are many people in Ukraine who live below the poverty line. Their living conditions are difficult to call human. Moreover, this pandemic and crisis have complicated the economic condition of the country, and this part of the population was left without a chance of life. They call our support line and we send them a food bag. This is a small help, but it shows them the love and care of Christians for them that we are not indifferent to their misfortune. Many become interested in the church and the issue of salvation. Thank God, there are many repentances every month. It is a good social ministry that expands the boundaries of God's kingdom.

4. Listener testimony

Valentina Nikolaevna found a brochure about our ministry, and there was our phone number. I called to ask how to pray correctly. Her husband died a year and a half ago. Only yesterday she realized that she had not forgiven him, and even did not want to go to the cemetery. This worries her very much, and she really wants to free herself from resentment. They lived with her husband for 46 years. There were many difficulties: my husband drank, was a drug addict, was ill a lot. They also buried their son. Her daughter has no device in life, the relationship between mother and daughter does not add up. Valentina Nikolaevna cannot attend the church because of the quarantine. she is over 60. She is very tired of this, she says that her faith has weakened. Our counselors held a counseling conversation with her, explained that all the past will interfere with her living in the present, that resentment will eat up her from the inside and that Jesus forgave us more than anyone on earth. She agreed to pray about this, and also forgave and released her husband. She said that the stone left my soul, it became easier to breathe. We prayed for our daughter and her relationship with her daughter. It became much easier for her. She said that she felt so bad, did not know what to do. Thank you for this service. So good that you can call and tell a stranger what is there.

5. Prayer needs:

- Pray for the health of our family, that God will save and bless us.

- Pray for our ministry on the radio so that more people will learn about God and be able to accept Him and change their lives

- Pray for my wife she is pregnant. May God bless her and a baby to grow up and born in a time and healthy.

Gospel through the radio in the difficult time

1. Radio broadcasts

• Subject: Believe in yourself (Phil. 4:13). Due to the low self-esteem and opinions of others, we may be afraid to start our own business, to prove ourselves and our inner world among others. With such a constrained and squeezed life, you will never be happy and successful. But God gives strength and frees from these complexes.

• Topic: Life is not a lottery (Eph. 4:28). In this life, nothing is simply or easily given, everyone has to pay for everything. The Bible condemns laziness and calls such people insane. "The worker is worthy of food" or who does not work, let him not eat.

• Theme: Hearing God (Er. 33: 3). Often it seems to us that God has forgotten about us and does not hear us, why should we turn to Him for this? But the problem is that we cannot hear God when He speaks. He answers us in many ways, but most through the Scriptures, if I do not read Him, then I will not receive an answer from God.

2. The fact of Ukrainian culture

The people are in fear of a coronavirus pandemic. Statistics are not reassuring, but vice versa. The number of infected does not decrease every day. In Ukraine, quarantine was extended again, and in some areas, they even increased the rigidity and requirements. People continue to die. Some churches began to gather, they thought that everything had already passed, but everyone who was in the ministry and all their households fell ill. This happened in three churches in our Chernivtsi region. People call us and tell us that they have a panic fear that they are afraid of the future, that this disease may overtake them. Some have already gone to psychologists and psychiatrists to cope with these fears.

3. Social problems and ways to solve it

Our society is very politicized. In every conversation, any Ukrainian will remember and abuse our government. All news media and print media are full of political information. People know a lot, not only for the conduct of the policies of each deputy but also for their personal lives, how many children, what their name is, what they do, how many cars and houses everyone has, etc. Dirty politics, all the quarrels, and debates associated with it only oppress and clog the soul. This very negatively affects our mood and attitude towards others. It is better to seek and fill yourself and your mind with positive information that will heal and make our life happier.

4. Listener Testimony

Vasil, Slavuta

Once he was a believer, but in his youth he went for bad company and left God. Further, problems began with the law and relatives. He was forced to leave his own city, now he settled in the town of Slavuta, Khmelnitsky region. Recently, he heard the news that his pastor and his son were riding in a minibus in the front seats and there was a severe accident where they two died. This touched his heart very much, because this pastor was his soul-guardian, constantly communicated with him and cultivated spiritually when he was still attending church. He is very attached to his pastor, and now such a loss. Vasily wondered, and where will I be if I suddenly die, like him? By chance, he heard our radio and called, opened and told the whole story. We comforted and reinforced him, explained that God was leading him to Him in this way and that he agreed to repent and renew his relationship with God. Now he attends a church in the city of Slavuta. Thank God for the return of the lost sheep!

- Pray for the health of our family, that God will save and bless us.

Camp meeting

Greetings to all workers of mission PIE and all who support it. God bless you abundantly by His grace and His richness. Thanks for your prayers and concern about our ministry.

We made a meeting with children who were in the summer Christian camp of Prelipche village. Over 40 non-Christians children came to the service. We made many games, songs for them. They learned a gold verse from Bible John 3:16. They watched the cartoon about the horse “Mustang”. And then I preached them about God’s love to them and among people. They were very impressed with the meeting and would like to come again.

As usual, I visited one guy Misha who is sick on cerebral palsy. We talk with him about God and His Word. He understands everything and is close to Jesus Christ. This time we went to the parade of more than 20 robots. Most of all he liked to talk with the robot named Vania who has Artificial Intelligence. There were many interesting robots who can talk, run, play, and print some details. Also, he liked fishing and spent there a lot of time.

Every month we carry out the teenagers coffee house. A lot of people had come this time. They played games, sang Christians songs, and discuss about friendship. And then they divided into small groups and I talk with them about relationships between people and God. Jesus calls us friends and there is no more love than when you give your soul for your friend. Jesus had made that for us.

Prayer needs:

1. For non-Christian children in Prelipche village that God reveals them Himself, and they get to know Him.

2. For Misha, his health and mind, and for his sick mother.

3. For teenagers of our city may they open their hearts to God.

The social experiment in education

Greetings to you! God bless your family and ministry!

Holidays have passed already, but I just want to let you know about our traditions.

In most countries of the world, Christmas is celebrated on December 25, but in Orthodox Ukraine on January 7, this remains from the Soviet Union. The main reason for this difference is using by churches of different calendars. The Western Church uses the Gregorian calendar, which was introduced by Pope Gregory XIII in 1582, and the Eastern Church remained on the old Julian calendar, which was developed under Julius Caesar in the year 45 BC. The difference between these calendars is 13 days.

Today, our society has been indignant at the government’s plans for changes in the curriculum of schools in Ukraine. Minister of Education and Science Novosad Ganna, unmarried and has no children, said she wants to make school neutral gender. This means that children will be taught that they are not boys and not girls, but that they themselves can decide who they want to become. And in the future, they will be able to change themselves floor. Statistics in Western countries say most suicides occur people who did such an operation, broke their own lives and could not deal. For example, in America, the level of such suicides is 80 times higher than the general level suicides among the US population.

This social experiment in education can also break the lives of our children.

All residents of the country ask the government not to remove the subject from the curriculum “Family basics” were to speak about the right biblical family and that they do not introduce this gender neutrality.

In our programs, we often say that the devil fights for the hearts of children to steal them from their parents and ruin their thinking. This new school program is his methodology. We always proclaim the biblical principles and foundations of the family.

Jura, 32 years old, Ivano-Frankivsk

A year ago, I returned from the ATO, Donetsk region. My call sign there was a chaplain, although, in fact, I was not chaplain, I always tried to help everyone, both mentally and financially, therefore I was called so. I encouraged the soldiers before the battle and consoled when there were losses. I did it gratis, not expecting any fee. The last person I helped for about six months just forgot my kindness and used this. Before this, this man had lowered his arms, coming from Italy, where he spent 15 years, estranged from relatives and did not see the point of living on. I held out his hand help and convinced him the opposite, that we need to live on, that I will help him achieve it goals. In these six months, he achieved his goal with my help, but I had nothing from this and, in principle, I did not want to have something. But, moreover, I turned out to be in his eyes the worst enemy in the world, it happens, I don’t blame him. We parted with him, but recently he disappeared for three days in Odessa. His family immediately called me, I could be indifferent to this news, but I could not and helped relatives. I called back all foremen and workers and there was found a loss, he didn’t even thankful for the fuss, and it’s not necessary, I’m not proud.

After such cases, a burden appeared on my soul, people have joy, and I sadness.

I accidentally saw your program on Facebook. Thanks for answering me in the comments and in PM. Now I understand that God will never be indebted and that Jesus also did a lot of good that is not appreciated.

1.           Please, pray for our government and education system. May God gives them wisdom and fear to teach children biblical principles about family.

2.           Please, pray for this guy Yura, may God turn him to Himself.

3.           Please, pray about our radio team to proclaim the Gospel to unbelievers.

A guy is ill with cerebral palsy

I send sincere greetings to all missionaries of the mission PIEI. “The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace”. (Nu.6:24-26)

Our God bless us amazing from day to day. So we wonder of His grace and mercy. May our powerful and almighty God bless all of you and will repay you in one hundred fold for your help and support for us. I am happy that God can use me for His purposes and I can be like a tool in His hands.

We are glad that we can spread the Gospel to millions of people through the radio and via the internet. In our program “Family Bible Hour” we talked about family problems when a man doesn`t respect wife`s work at home with kids and he thinks that she is lazy and didn`t do anything all day. But he couldn`t imagine how many things she doing every day which are invisible to him. She cares about children, washes them, feeds them, clean after them, plays with them, cooking, clean up all house, laundry stuff and etc. But he thinks if you have not a job and stay at home that’s mean you are doing nothing. So, we broke this thought and showed the reality and ask men to respect their wives at home especially when they are pregnant. They need to be appreciated and give them honor.

I visit one guy every month his name is Michael and he is ill with cerebral palsy. He is 28, but his mind is only 15 years old. I brought him some cookies and stuff he likes. We talked about life and we prayed with Our Father prayer. Then we walked the city and we decided to clean our streets. So we took two garbage bags and filled them up very quickly because our city is too dirty. Then we visited the ecological Centre where he could breathe fresh air and see many different plants, exotic flowers, ducks, rabbits, sheep, goats, and pheasants. He is a good guy and he needs Jesus.

We conduct a family group in our flat. We invite different families which have some problems and talk with them, discuss the Bible and find out the solutions from their situations. We are glad that every time two or three couples come and we have some influence on them.

Prayer needs:

1. Please, pray for our radio programs may God help us to share His Word in the right way.

2. Pray about this guy Michael may God bless him and his mother she is very sick too.

3. Pray about our family group may God bring to us more people who need help and make them more like Jesus Christ.

Junior Coffee House

Greet to you all who loves God and seeks His Kingdom. God bless you with His richness and grace.

Thanks for concerned our mission for your prayers and support.

God gave me a great opportunity to spread the Gospel through radio broadcasts. Every week we produce two programs which are called “Family Bible Hour” and talk about different topics. For example last month we talked about the American holiday Halloween that is getting popular in Ukraine. Halloween is not a feast of saints. People want to have fun and play with death and its images. But is that funny? We told the history of the holiday and its original meaning. There are no saints there, only witches and sorcerers.

The last program was about God`s support in the poorness. God loves us and does not let us die starving. He is a Heaven Father and feed us. Only faith and hope help us to recognize that.

Every month we conduct the junior coffee house. I am involved in the team and lead there a group of studying the Bible. This time we talked about offense and forgiveness, that God forgives us as much as we forgive others.

Prayer requests:

1. About God`s leading in our radio programs, so Holly Spirit could touch the hearts of people

2. About juniors of our coffee houses that they could accept Jesus Christ

3. About our health, that God gives us strength and passion to share the Gospel.
