My Goal

Through God’s grace, we find ourselves at the end of August, and I wish to write a few lines, expressing gratitude towards God and then offering a prayer. It's very difficult to convey the emotions I experience at each mission point, but what I cannot express, the Holy Spirit can. Therefore, I try to write every report with my heart, hoping that it will be read with the heart as well.

In this message, I would like to emphasize that at every mission point, my goal is to meet in Heaven with all those who hear the Gospel. Whether it's a funeral, a program with the girls from the orphanage, visits to samll villages, various conferences with workers, or disciple-making work, the Name of the Lord Jesus may be glorified. And when the Lord Jesus returns, may we receive our reward, and I pray that all those who have supported me in this great work will be rewarded as well.

I think of the PIE Romania and USA committees, and as I have written in my notebook, every evening at 9 o'clock, I remember you in my prayers: Cornel and Gabi Ștef, who surprised me greatly by joining me in my mission for almost four days – I could hardly believe it; may the Lord Jesus reward them. Rodica and Alex Popa, Timotei and Jenu, Mike Dima, and sister Oara who handle the reports. I joyfully pray for all of you. Of course, our wonderful sponsors are not forgotten: the Ed and Daiana family, the Matei Scheau family, and sister Naomi, who sent medicines for my wife on behalf of Liviu Dragomir, and sister Mărioara Barac. I pray for every missionary on the frontlines, that the Lord Jesus may be with them in their battles, whether it's at the orphanage, in the neighboring villages, or at gatherings where I am called to preach the Gospel, build up, encourage, and comfort, all in dependence on the Lord Jesus. Amen.

A great joy is that my wife has started eating, and she now weighs 53 kg compared to 49 kg. Her illness is progressing, but I pray, and I ask you to pray as well, that it progresses more slowly. I take her with me to gatherings, but not everywhere. I am sending you some photos of the work I am involved in. I would like to conclude with a verse that I read today, and it comforted me, especially in these times when the Lord Jesus is ready to return: Genesis 45:20 “Also regard not your stuff; for the good of all the land of Egypt is yours.”
