Meeting of missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission

We greet you with the love of our Jesus Christ, dear brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine!

By the mercy and grace of our Lord, we were able to work and serve for God for another month, although we still have this full-scale war in Ukraine, the arrival of missiles and suicide bombers from the enemy, many deaths and illnesses, many crippled destinies of people. We are grateful to God for protecting us and our region from missiles, and we pray for those other regions of Ukraine that the Lord will protect them from bomb and missile explosions.

1. Bible Inductive Institute:

-Last month I studied the Book of Exodus with students from the Bible Institute, and now I’m preparing to teach the textbook “Spiritual Gifts.” A very useful and responsible textbook in that everyone who studies it can understand what gift he has from God to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ.

2. Fasting and prayer.

February 24 was a day of fasting and prayer for all Protestant churches in Ukraine. On this day it was two years since a full-scale war began in Ukraine, when Russia attacked our country. All believing brothers and sisters prayed and fasted before the Lord and sought mercy, protection and salvation from the enemy from Russia. We rely only on God. Only He can bring us the long-awaited peace and only He can protect us from enemies. Psalm 91:7-8.-A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; But he won't come close to you. Only you will look with your eyes and see the retribution of the wicked.

3. Meeting of missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission.

On February 28, our missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission had a meeting in the Emmanuel Church, in Novoselitsa, in the church of our brother missionary Valery Popov.

-Each missionary reported on his service work for the month of February of this year. We also had a common prayer, where we thanked God for His mercy and love for us, for His protection during this difficult time of war in Ukraine. We also thanked God for our partners from the USA who serve the Lord with us here where we live, helping people who are in trouble and difficulties.

-I had a small analysis of the Word of God with our missionaries on the topic “Fullness of the Godhead” from the book of Colossians.

-We also prayed that the Lord would help us to continue to serve Him in this difficult time and that He would continue to protect us from missile attacks on our territories, so that we could serve God calmly.

4. Now I’m preparing to teach at the Theological Institute. From March 4 to 14 I have a Messiology session, where I will teach 4th year students.

5. Thanksgiving:

-We thank the Lord God for His protection this month and for the fact that we were able to serve God without any obstacles.

-We always thank God for you, brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine, for your service and prayers for Ukraine.

-We thank God for giving us still health and strength to work in His field.

6.Prayer needs:

-Continue to pray with us for the war in Ukraine and Israel to end.

-So that enemy missiles and bombs do not come to us.

-So that God will continue to protect us and give us health to serve Him.

-Pray for me so that I can teach the Missiology session next week. So that the Lord gives me health and wisdom.

-Pray that we will be able to bring summer Christian children's camps to our region this summer. So that we have peace for this purpose.

-So that we can organize a meeting for orphans in the month of May.

-Pray with us for our prisoners of war.

-For our soldiers who defend Ukraine. For the chaplains who are there with them and teach them the Word of God. May the Lord protect and protect everyone.

And we pray for you, our dear brothers and sisters from the USA. May the Lord bless you richly and reward you with blessings a hundredfold!

With love to you, the Petikhachnyy Pavel & Larisa family.
