Peace and may Jesus bless you!
We come with gratitude before you and we want to bring glory to the Lord, for He is with us and keeps us in His grace of victory! We thank you for all your love for us and for praying and supporting the work of the Lord being with us, the Șerbănescu family! I want to share with you these verses that I hope will encourage you!

How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints,
for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. - Psalm 84: 1-2

We want to tell you that, by the grace of God, we are better as a family, our children they start school but we pray to God to protect them from all evil and to be their guide in everything they do!
We are thankful to God because during this vacation I was able to spend more time with my family after a difficult but a happy season, because He is at work!
Together with my family, we had a blessed time in the visit to the grandparents, the aunt and uncle, and also once visited their church in Crasna, Vaslui county, where we had fellowship with the brothers and spoke about the work of the Lord in Dăneasa-Olt!

Also during this period we had guests at the morning church program in Dăneasa, the brothers and sisters from Coteana came to us, together with our dear sister Karan, where we had fellowship and a blessed time! A rich word from Brother Samuel Ilies and Sister Karan's testimony in which we enjoyed and prayed together for one another! My wife was with Raluca, Samuel's wife at the children's program and we were amazed that so many children attended and enjoyed together!

We went to an equipment program that brought us much joy and enrichment as being of a pleasing character to God, His Glory for them!
Also, we had the honor to have brother Cornel and Gabriela Stef family together with Teri at the church program! We are so thankful for the encouragement that came from the Lord through them.

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray for us further that God may give us power, success in ministry, wisdom.

  • Pray for people to be ready to help, to join us in ministry.

  • For the Lord to make a spiritual awakening and people to return to Christ.

  • For believers that God will strengthen His way, protect them from the evil and trust in Him more and more.

  • For our family budget to be covered.

  • For financial support for the mission of Dăneasa.

Thank you dear brothers and sisters and may Jesus bless you all!
We welcome you and we love you!

Peace, may Lord Jesus bless you with health, strength, patience, love for those around you!

This month, The Lord has blessed us through some brothers who have had the love and desire to take part in the work of God here in Daneasa by sharing from their experiences with God and as He has given them strength and succeeded in going on His path! Together with our sisters and brothers in Daneasa, we had a wonderful time. We praise the Lord Jesus for His work and power in victory at all times!

We also enjoyed the PIEI team, we were with them in visits, we had fellowship and the joy of praying together for the work of the Lord! May Jesus bless them for their love and effort because we know it's hard.

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray for families who have only one born again member. Lord give them power them to remain oh His path and to be a testimony for their family.

  • For the youth, God protect them and keep them from the lusts of this world.

  • For us as a family, Lord keep us from the everyday evil and give us power to continue to serve Him, to be fruitful in His work!

We continue to pray for you, Lord Jesus to keep you in His grace of victory, we love you and may He will bless you!

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. - Psalm 62: 1-2

With all love, in Christ Jesus, we send you greetings from the Serbnescu Daniel and Mihaela family!

We want to share with you how the Lord Jesus works and strengthens us when we go through various trials and difficulties!
First of all, we want to tell you about Viorel, which I told you about and I told you that we visit him quite often, being in a very advanced state in cancer, bone cancer!
On the visits we shared the gospel with the family and even with other women and men who came to visit him!
On June 14, Viorel passed away, we feel sorry for his departure from the earth but grateful to God for working in his heart.
Viorel had a wife and a child with handicap, and we pray for them that God would protect them and speak to them personally!
We continue to visit them, may the Lord strengthen them and to take care of their needs!
We are also involved with young people and we meet them weekly for bible study but we also go out with them to evangelistic events in which the scripture is studied, but there are also sports activities!

We often go to church members to encourage them to stay on the Lord's path because they are very discouraged by their families, we pray with them, we read the Bible, we also strengthen the relationship with their families!
We also come to prayer for these people, Florina, Vasilica, Maria and her husband, for the evil one is struggling to pull them back!

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray for us and for our family, we need guidance in the Holy Spirit how to be more effective in the work of the Lord.

  • Let us be physically and spiritually guarded by the Lord Jesus and not discourage us!
Because among the servants there are attacks on the part of the evil who want to discourage!

  • Pray for financial support, we still need!

The Lord Jesus bless you and be glorified forever!

All the glory to God, He works amazingly and we are encouraged that He cares about His children and His Work!
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, this month I had the opportunity to help sick people, to visit them more often and to tell them about the love of Christ!
Viorel, about which I have spoken to you in previous updates, is in a more advanced state of illness, now he is in metastasis and yet he is full of faith. He is more conscious and enjoys every time we go to visit him! He wants to thank you all who have prayed and continue to pray for him!

Also during this time we enjoyed with those in the PVT, we’ve made programs with children and evangelism, the Lord bless all those who supported and prayed for these events, the Lord be praised! I am impressed how God works in small things to make them big, important and precious!
Also this month, with the help of God, we continued the construction of the multifunctional building, please pray that we can continue the construction!

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray for Viorel, ask the Lord for healing over his body and soul.

  • Pray For us as a family, we need the power of the holy Spirit, wisdom, guidance from the Lord in this work!

” O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. “  - Psalm 47: 1 KJV

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, we are grateful to God for the care of His children and for the wonderful work in Dăneasa, where we serve.

We had the opportunity to give help, in God’s name, to those in need. They were thankful and glad that they recieved so many things for their family, God be glorified for this blessing!
Also, we are grateful to Him and we give Him glory because only through His grace we started again the children's program and the youth groups, with activities: bible study, worship, fellowship and games!

Through the grace of God, a team of puppeteers from Alba Iulia, "OAC" came and presented the "Merciful Samaritan", being a great joy for children, parents and grandparents!
Also this month, with the help of God, we started to work on the multifunctional building. It was a time when we couldn’t work because of the bad weather, but now God gave us a great time to work, all for His glory!

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray for the children ministry, for the children’s parents, to gain more confidence in us and allow them to come to the programs.

  • Pray for the Lord to open more hearts in Daneasa!

  • Pray for the members of the church that the Lord will keep them strong in His way, though they encounters many oppositions from their families and the society in which they live!

  • Pray for the young people of Daneasa, that they truly understand the God’s word and apply it in their lives, for they are also coming from families with difficulties and problems!

  • Pray for our family, our children to finish the school year well, for financial support because we still need it!

Thank you very much for praying for us and for the people of Daneasa! Be blessed!

God is faithful in his promises!

WhatsApp Image 2019-02-28 at 12.33.23.jpeg

Our brothers and sisters, we want to thank you to all of you who support us and our ministry in prayer. Glory to Him for all his blessings and victories.

We salute you with Psalm 37:5 "Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you". We are very grateful for the way God works in the lives of Florina and George in order to make them in His image.

They continue to come to church with their children and are encouraged by the Lord in all the aspects of their lives. One special reason to pray for Florin is for the power to stop smoking because he wants to stop but he can't do it.

Also, we went to visit the husband of Maria, one of our sisters in Christ, to tell him about Jesus and about His love, to encourage him and we wanted him to see that he is not alone. He had a malign tumor and he went through a surgery recently. The doctors told him that he has only three weeks to live but after the surgery he was quite ok and started chemiotherapy. Please continue to pray for him because only God can bring peace and healing.

At the end of this message, we want to thank you as family for your prayers. We had some issues lately but we could see God's comfort and faithfullness. My wife was very sick, she went through a surgery and now she is ok, praises to God. We are grateful for your prayers and please continue to join us in prayer for my family and for the ministry.

God bless you!

One Soul for Christ

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. - 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV

WhatsApp Image 2019-02-01 at 20.26.57.jpeg

A victory of the Lord Jesus and our joy is that a man, husband of one of our sister in Christ who was baptized two years ago, returned to the Lord.

Florina & George Vlada have two children. Through God's grace, Florina returned to God two years ago, since then, she prayed to the Lord for the salvation of her husband and peace in her family!

Big tests in her family, many and many fights with her husband, but we continued to visit them whenever they needed, to encourage them, to pray with them, and so God worked in the heart of the husband and with great pain in the soul, he realized that he is a sinner, he understood that without the Lord Jesus a man can’t have salvation!

The husband didn’t want to have to see any repentants before, or to hear about God, saying that he doesn’t need to know about Him! We spent more time with them both, we told them the gospel in many times, they saw Jesus by our example as a family, and now they are willing to study with us the Word of God. They understood the importance of reading the word and the importance of pray in their relationship with God.

Glory to the Lord for this victory and thank you for your prayers!

Prayer requests:

  • Pray for this family that the tests that will come upon them as Christians will also be encouraging that they now have a hope in our Lord Jesus Christ!

  • Pray for their family, for their children, and their lives to be changed and shaped according to the will of God!

Christmas is a Season for Giving!

We praise the Lord for He has given us the opportunity to give more than 150 gifts to the Kindergarten classes at the local school. Additionally we were able to give to the children of the families that we have been working with. This opportunity has allowed us to form and strengthen our relationships with the parents as well, which allows for better conversations and opportunities to share Christ. Not only that but we delighted in God’s provision through those who prayed, those who gave, and in those who were able to receive the gifts. We ask that you join us in celebrating, praying for the children we were able to reach, and rejoicing in the Lord, for the ultimate gift of Christmas has already been given to us, when Christ came down at Christmas!

With great affection and love for you, and for the Glory of the Lord, we wish you a Merry Christmas!

Our God - The Only Healer

May the peace of God fill up your hearts in these days while we celebrate the birth of Jesus!

We pray that God will cover you with His blessings and give you joy in His presence!

Recently, I met a man named Viorel. He is 52 years old. He is part of an orthodox family and he has a very difficult situation. He has one hand amputated and because he had to work to provide for his family, the hand infected and it’s in a very bad shape. He was hospitalized a short time for investigations and now we wait for the results to see if he has cancer or not.

Please pray for his soul because I told him about the salvation that Jesus can offer and now he knows that only God can heal him physically and spiritually!

Pray for his healing and for his family because he is the only one able to work. Also, pray for his child because he also has a handicap.

We thank you for your prayers and we will keep you up to date with his situation.

God bless you and Merry Christmas!

Looking Ahead

Dear friends,

We pray that this note will find all of you in a pace that only God can give. We (the team here in Daneasa/Olt) wish all of you the joy of the Lord in your hearts. We thank you for your prayers that are lifted to the throne of mercy for us here on the mission field. We are greeting you with Ephesians 2:22 “You, too, are being built in him, along with the others, into a place for God’s Spirit to dwell”.

Old Sanctuary

You are looking at the picture where we are gathering every Sunday morning with 20 persons including kids. The place is 15’x15’ a room where we are praising God for His goodness until now and rejoicing for His marcy from now on. We honor God for this place where a few gather around singing songs, kids program, and bible study.

First brick

New Building

By God’s grace we finished the foundation this summer and as fo today we started to put the first brick as walls on the building. A building multifunctional as a sanctuary for gathering with people from the village, a room for different events, a place for Sunday school for kids, mother and child room, kitchen, bathroom, two shops. One for carpenter and one for sewing (tailoring shop) Beside the rooms we are making space, rooms for teams that are coming to stay for a short period of time!

At this time we are working to finished the exterior walls, before the winter, and because we have the bricks for only that part, and the connection corners from the concrete with all the metal bars that goes into it. We still need the bricks for the interior walls which we do not have yet.

Ephesians 1:13  You, too, have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed in the Messiah, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

Pray for us as we are starting the walls that we will not stop working until we are finished the building. This is a test for us, a challenge for us, however we are trusting in Him. We believed that sooner then later we will be gathering there.

Prayer request;

  • Pray for fonds to finished the entire building so we can be there as soon as possible.

  • Pray for the wether to cooperate so we can work easily.

  • Pray for the work that we started with the kids and the youth.

  • Pray for the women that are christian and non christian.

  • Pray for the people in Daneasa.

As right now we need the interior walls, bricks that are costing us $700. 00. The metal bars and the cement another$500.00.

Thank you for being a part of our ministry here where God is place us, and thank you for the willingness of helping hand in whatever God place in your heart.

God's Message of Love to the Women of Daneasa

“I rejoiced to have a special discussion time with a few women from the village this week, to encourage them and to show them that they are loved, that they have worth and that the Lord Jesus Christ loves them!
They are very open, but at the same time, it is hard for them to understand that the Lord loves them and that He is good to them.

Pray for their hearts and souls and that God would open their hearts to Him! Amen!” Mihaela Serbanescu.

Pray for the village of Daneasa, Romania where Mihaela and her husband Daniel Serbanescu serve as PIE missionaries and church planters.

Romans 5:1
"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God, through Our Lord Jesus Christ."

Prayer requests - Daneasa

Peace my dear brothers in Christ!

I want to share with you few prayer request and in the same time things that we are thankful for: we would like to thank  those who involved through prayer or actions regarding the multi functional building in Daneasa, where we have started our construction and through God's Grace, we managed to build the groundwork of the building.

This month we had a special event for the children at the stadium in Daneasa, where they could rejoice through plays, games, songs, bible verses and fellowship. Please pray for them so God will search their hearts and they will continue to come to the children's program.

Lastly, i would like to share with you what God is working through us in Daneasa: we had the opportunity to go on the streets and share the Gospel, also we have visited few families of non believers and we praise God that they received us and we were able to share the good news of Salvation. Please pray for them, that the Word of God will search their heart and they will be saved.

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

We rejoice in sharing with you about how God worked this month. With the help of God, this month we managed to finish the paperwork for the multi-functional building! I strengthened a friendship with Costel, whom I have wrote about in previous newsletters.

Thanks be to God that He worked so beautifully, in which Costel acquired confidence and felt encouraged by our time of fellowship.

Costel desires to know more about God and for us to continue praying for him.

Likewise, we had a blessed time of consolidation for the believers through Brother Ilie Contiu and Niky Botan, in which we prayed, praised God and worshipped together.

We praise God for the fellowship, which we had this month with the members and others from Daneasa. We were encouraged through this verse and praises be upon God!

Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.”

Family Visits

Psalms 48:1 "Great is The Lord and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of His holiness."

Thank you dear brothers for your prayers that you brought before The Lord on behalf of us. We feel blessed and desire to share with you how God came to help the people of Daneasa this month.
A family in Daneasa is going through a challenging period in their lives. Vali is a mother of 4 children, and a few months ago, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and was operated on. Presently, she is recuperating and with the help of God, we offered  help and care through encouragement, visits and transportation to the hospital for blood tests.

Screen Shot 2018-03-10 at 18.42.15.png

Following these things, they felt encouraged and thanked God. Together with my wife, we visited another family where we share the Gospel and care for them in their needs. Adriana and her daughter, Cristina, are special people desiring to know God more. Cristina is experiencing a challenging time. We pray for her and her family to be saved. This month 2 families were helped with wood and coal for fires, being very thankful to God.

Besides service, God blessed us through equipping conferences.

God bless you and we ask you to continue to intercede for these families that the name of God would be praised.Where will my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth."

November 2017

Also through the Grace of God in this month, we were able to demolish the old shed to prepare the space for construction for the multi-functional building that with serve the Church with rooms for teams as well as 2 workshops for woodworking and sewing. Thank you for your support in prayer, likewise we invite you to continue to pray for the following prayer requests: 1) For this family, that God would work to bring repentance in Costel's life (the husband of one of our sisters in the church) 2) For the future construction that God would bring financial partners and physicial workers alongside of us. Thank you and God bless you! Psalm 121:1-2 "I will lift up my eyes to the mountains. Where will my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth."

October 2017

Grace and peace in our Lord. This month, we rejoiced that we were able to take part in a few events, in which we would like to share with you.

1) One of these events included starting two meetings a month with women.

 2) We have been meeting monthly for a time of fellowship with members and disciples in Daneasa.  It has been a joy to form relationships with them.

 3) We mentored and fellowshipped alongside one of our sister’s family this month.

Her husband was taken to the hospital in a severe state, having problems with his lungs.

We ask you to pray for these events as prayer requests. 1) That God would work in the women and that they would even receive Christ as their Savior. 2) Please also pray for our sister’s husband that god would work upon his heart to repent and to give him healing. 3) Pray for our time of fellowship as a church every month that God would form deeper relationships between our families.

God bless you and thank you for your support and partnership!
