We are nothing without God and there is nothing we can do without His great power. He deserves all the glory for His work. We are just the tools that He uses to carry the Good News of the Gospel to those who do not know Him. It is such an honor that the One who created the Universe uses us, simple human beings. Each of you is important in God’s plan, whether you are directly involved in the mission field, whether you pray for us or you offer financial support, you are part of the missionary work in Comani. We all serve the same Lord and we all take part to the expansion of the Kingdom of God in Comani. When we see God touching people’s hearts and changing their lives, we can only give glory to God and enjoy His work.
This month, the church in Comani had the blessing to be visited by a British crew led by brother Nigel Worth. We served the community together, through various activities. We made home visits to build stronger relationships with the people we invest in and we prayed for people with various physical sufferings. We were glad to see the God’s work in sister Jeni’s life, who had strong knee pains. Every time she came to the church, she struggled to climb the stairs, but - glorified be the Lord -, after the prayer, sister Jeni felt so relieved she could even make some squats. She was very happy with God's work and she could hardly believe it.We had an event with women and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the women responded to the invitation and came to see that it was a day when they could work in gardens. It is very important in our community to stop and choose to come.
Each morning, Brother Nigel spoke about safety, acceptance and significance in Christ. The people from our church attended the sessions but we also invited other people from our village. That's how Georgiana came to attend too. Georgiana is a 22-year-old woman, that grew up in a divorced family. At an early age, without any support from her family, she struggled to make her life better. She had a hard life, and after listening to what Brother Nigel preached it seemed to her that her problem was acceptance. At the end of the second session, she came to me and said that she finally understood that God accepted her and that she was determined to accept Jesus as the Lord and Master of her life.
I think Jesus can lead my life better than anyone’ Georgiana said. We were so happy for her choice, but we continue to pray that the Lord will give her power to live by His will.
We had with us the Goghian family for a week, a family living in the north of Romania, in the city of Sfantu Gheorghe. Brother Rudi and his wife want to come and join us in the missionary work in Comani. Please pray that God make His will clear to us.
Pray for two family's from our community, Fesanas and Veselas. They are two families who are included in the ‘Adopt a family’ project, a project for families who have no financial support and you can help a family with food, school supplies, clothes.Pray that God can touch their hearts and they see His kindness, which urges everyone to repentance.
We were visited by PIEI America Director, Cornel Stef, who helped us understand how to have a better collaboration with our American partners.
The second day after Easter, together with the brothers from Draganesti-Olt church, we organized a socialization event, where we aimed to build stronger relationships. Pray the Lord to give us wisdom in talking to people in our village, and at the same time for those who do not know the Lord to open their heart to Him.
Thank you for your support and your help.
Please pray for:
Divine protection for my family
For the Goghian family to know God’s will
A minibus for the work I do.
