Greetings,
My name is Emanuel Badaran, I live in the city of Craiova, Romania and I am part of the national mission team under the leadership of "Hope Church of Craiova" with my leader and founder and pastor Raul Costea.

I grew up with a Christian mother who brought me to church since I was a young boy. When I was 7 my parents split but I kept coming to church all the time. One day when I was 14 years old my Pastor asked why I wasn’t willing to pray in front of the church. I told him it was because I was shy but started to lead the service in prayer anyway. For the next few years I lead the church in prayer. During this time I was living in the small village of Floru.

When I started High School I moved to Slatina, a larger town away from my home and lived with a family that had a house church. Ion Vlad sat me down one day and asked me if I was a Christian. I knew I wasn’t and it scared me. When I got home my Pastor during one of his sermons asked us if we died tonight was going to heaven. I knew I wasn’t. This once again scared me and made me talk to my Pastor. That day at the age of 17 I accepted the Lord.

During the past few years I have pursued a relationship with God, including getting Baptized and starting to serve the church in all the ways I could. I liked this job and I liked talking to people.

God has revealed to me that I am a discipler. I have joined E2E to prepare me for my mission field.

“But now listen, Jacob, my servant,     Israel, whom I have chosen. 2 This is what the Lord says—     he who made you, who formed you in the womb,     and who will help you: Do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant,     Jeshurun,[a] whom I have chosen. 3 For I will pour water on the thirsty land,     and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring,     and my blessing on your descendants. 4 They will spring up like grass in a meadow,     like poplar trees by flowing streams. 5 Some will say, ‘I belong to the Lord’;     others will call themselves by the name of Jacob; still others will write on their hand, ‘The Lord’s,’     and will take the name Israel.” ISAIAH 44:1-5
