A Brief History
Partners in Evangelism International ministry was founded by Gene Brush (former US missionary to Spain) in the spring of 1985.
Antonio Pardo of Spain became our first national missionary, and Spain the first country represented in PIEI.
"Reaching Philippines for Christ", national ministry in the Philippines joined us in 1989.
By the end of 1992, a Romanian volunteer team from Chicagoland area had joined us, establishing a new national ministry in Romania; during the same time we also established a relationship with Andy Girwarnauth, national in Guyana, South America, and Ray Talmage had become our General Director.
In 1994, a new ministry was launched in Uganda and the Romanian team had begun working in Ukraine, establishing a new ministry there. One by one, more countries have been introduced, partnership were created, and nationals started to work in their own countries preaching, teaching, evangelizing, spreading the Gospel and the Love of God to their own people, in their own languages, knowing their own cultures, and living there permanently. Many committed believers here in the U.S. have become partners in ministry with our national missionaries, praying for them and supporting them financially.
Since then, PIEI has grown and expanded in several countries of Europe, Africa, Asia, and Americas. (click on each continent on the main page, and you can check out the current countries that our ministry is involved in).
Partners in Evangelism International focuses on establishing and supporting national ministries around the world.
How it works:

Forming a Partnership Committee in the US - made us of volunteers who have a specific country on their hearts - or getting involved with an already existing Partnership in a PIEI Supported Country

Getting connected with a national missionary

Finding Supporting Partners: churches, families, or individuals, who have a special love and interest in a specific national or ministry
