A Unique Approach to Missions
A new approach to missions came in the spring of 1985 with the vision of the founder president Gene Brush to develop a close partnership with national missionaries.

“The support of national missionaries is the ultimate response to the great commission, that we are laborers {partners} together with God. Each believer is placed in a strategic place to be used of God in unique fashion. In the total world picture we each play our role as a partner with other believers. Those who have the cultural and language skills are most effective in evangelism and church planting. To expedite and empower the front-line efforts others from around the world come alongside with prayer and support resources that complete the total supply needed. Thus every Christian is involved and is truly a missionary in his own right, fitting into the ministry grid as God has intended. The greatest fulfillment for the Christian is to be used as we have been called into service an ambassador of the King. The challenge for Partners in Evangelism is to recruit and activate the troops to the ends of the earth.”

"Many have taught and continue to teach that Nationals should not be supported. We need to seriously rethink that position. From what I have been reading, two trends seem to be taking place in American churches.
1) There is less money coming in to support missionaries.
2) Fewer people are willing to go onto foreign soil.
3) We could also add to that list that in many places America missionaries are simply not welcome.
As pastors, we need to encourage from our pulpits the need for Christians to go and take the Gospel to a lost world. As well, we need to support those who are willing to go. But, we must also be willing to support
