A BRIEF HISTORY OF INDEPENDENT GOSPEL BAPTIST CHURCHES AND THE ASSOCIATED MISSIONS OF INDIA- Rev. Shaju T. Simon, National Director
The ministry began in 1972 under the leadership of Rev. T.S. Sachai, Rev. T.S. Simon, Rev. K.J. Thomas, Rev. K.V. John and other faithful servants of Christ a church planting ministry. Under the leadership of these men thousands of people heard the gospel and received Christ. After the death of Rev. Sachai, Rev. Thakadiel Simon served as the president until his death in 2003. Bible College Graduation
On March 2, 2012 Friday evening 14 students graduated from Kerala Baptist Bible College & Seminary. It was a wonderful day of celebration of God's work in the lives of these students and their achievement. Nearly 300 people gathered for the service.
Academic Report 2011-2012
Kerala Baptist Bible College & Seminary re-opened on June 6th 2011. Rev. T. Sackson Simon officially inaugurated the academic year 2011-2012. Rev. K. J. Thomas offered the dedication prayer. Opening conference was for two days. During the conference Prof. Babu M. Paul from SIBBC Coimbatore was the key-note speaker.
Faculty Retreat
This year we conducted our faculty retreat at Erumely on May 26-27. Rev. T. Sackson Simon and Prof. Binu C. Paul were the speakers for this seminar.
Daily Activities
Our regular activity starts with a prayer at 8.15 along with the President. Classes are conducted from 8.30 AM to 1.00 PM with a chapel meeting at 10.20 am. All faculty members and students are required to attend this chapel. After lunch all students are required to be in the library for two hours. Regular family prayers are conducted at 7 p.m.
Fresher’s Day
We conducted a colorful fresher’s day celebration on June 28. 23 new comers joined to the college. During this program Prof. Brinson Babu was the main speaker.
Patriotic Celebrations
On 15th August we celebrated the Independence Day. Mr. Joseph Kondody, vice president of Kagazha Grama Panchayath, was the chief guest for this program. We also conducted the Republic Day on 26th January; and our panchayath president, Mrs. Raji Scaria Vyalapally hoisted the flag.
Gospel Mission Prayer Day (Missions Conference)
