Shaju T. Simon, National Director Our began in 1972 under the leadership of Rev. T.S. Sachai, Rev. T.S. Simon, Rev. K.J. Thomas, Rev. K.V. John and other faithful servants of Christ as a church planting ministry. Under the leadership of these men thousands of people heard the gospel and received Christ. After the death of Rev. Sachai, Rev. Simon served as the president until his death in 2003. Maintaining the church planting focus, the ministry was also expanded into para-church ministries such as the Bible College, Day School and the Gospel Team. Sackson Simon at the following < ... more>  India: In Focus Graduation Service Class of 2010 Graduation and Church Building Dedication KERALA BAPTIST BIBLE COLLEGE & SEMINARY GRADUATION KBBC & S graduation was held on February 26th. About 350 people gathered to witness the occasion. This year 15 students from 5 states of India graduation from various programs. Rev. Barry Blackstone was the gave the "Charge" to the graduates on this year's theme "Man of God". N. Abui Zeliang of Nagaland was selected as the "Valedictorian" and Sanninte Suresh and the "Graduate of the Year". As some of the graduates are seeking higher studies others are entering right into the ministry. We praise God for this great group of young people. VENMONY CHURCH BUILDING DEDICATION After 4 years of waiting and much prayer God has allowed us to construct and dedicate a church building and a parsonage in the village of Venmony. The service started with a rally from the main city to the church grounds. More than 1000 believers from the Association gathered for this celebration of God's goodness. We praise God for Emmanuel Baptist Church and the Pastor who has stood with us in this great accomplishment. Pastor Reji and the believers and so excited about the possibilities that this new building gives them to have a wider reach into the community. CHRUCH BUILDING REBUILT IN ORISSA During the last wave of attacks many church buildings and Christian centers were burned and destroyed. Two years after these attacks the believers of one village was able to rebuild their place of worship. Government gave them some financial assistance and with the cooperation and persistance of the believers the work was done. Although some opposition exists even in this community the believers are determined to continue living and worshipping here even if it means their lives will have to be sacrificed. ... more>
