Dear Violet and family,
This message to you in on behalf of all the volunteer members of PIEI - from the leadership to all the partnership committees here in the U.S., as well as on behalf of all the national PIEI ministries in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Americas.
Ray was a special blessing for our whole ministry. He helped build and expand this ministry because he believed in it. He was a great, gracious director, spiritual leader, mentor, cheerleader, encourager, and friend. He impacted many, many lives both here at home and abroad where he traveled often. We are proud and very blessed to have had Ray in the leadership of PIEI ministry. He will be greatly missed.
Please accept our ministry's deep condolences.
For the entire PIEI ministry,

Dear Friends and Parteners,
The life history of Pastor Ray rings Revelation 14:13 to our ears:
"Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on...Yes says the
Spirit, so they may rest from their labors; for what they wrought
follows with them"
May we be comforted by these living words, we: the Family of Ray and

Condolence from: Florin Botar / PIEI National Pastor-Romania
Now when we hear caroling and people are trying to be happy and better we have received this sad news that Pastor Ray went to the Most High whom he served with so much love and passion all his life.
Ray and his wife have been in my prayers daily, and the Talmage family continues to be very close to my heart. His love for Romania, for me and my family, and the Lord's work in this part is alive and will stay alive always. Ray was a special pastor for me, a beloved brother in the Lord and a wonderful friend.
Thank you, pastor Ray! We will meet with joy in heaven.
Fam. Florin Botar, Magda, Damaris, and Ana-Maria send our condolences to sister Violet and the Talmage family

To the family and friends of our dear brother Ray Talmage:
We mourn the loss of a dear friend and co-worker in the ministry. Ray was an encourager and faithful supporter of nationals in ministry. He will be sorely missed by all, but only for a short time, as we know he is with our Lord, rejoicing in heaven this Christmastime. We have the comfort and assurance of reuniting with him in glory!
"Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life, he that believeth on me ,though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die." John 11: 25-26
Love in Christ,
Andy and Kathleen Girwarnauth (Guyana)

Dear Violet, beloved Talmage Family,
We are so sorry for losing Ray. It is such a loss to us, but we cannot even imagine what a great loss it is to all of you.
You have all been so grief stricken this year by losing both John and Ray. The only think that we can do now is pray that the Lord will give you an extra measure of endurance and comfort, holding fast to hope and God's love.
Ray's faith has been a pillar of strength for all of us. He held on to life as long as he could. He will go on living - the life that he knew was the ultimate reward of his faith - in the presence of God, forever, with the Savior he served so well.
Please know that our love and prayers are with you all. May the Lord of all peace comfort you and give you peace and joy in your sorrow, the kind that passes all understanding and that can only come from Him.
May this coming Christmas be a sweet reminder that Ray is celebrating his best Christmas in the presence of the One whose birthday we celebrate. Ray's passing so close to Christmas seems like he gave the gift of himself to Jesus for His birthday. What a gift, and how appropriate, as Ray kept on giving all his life!
We loved and appreciated Ray very much, he was one of the most special persons God has ever put in our lives.
Be comforted with his hope and faith, and all the great memories you will always have with you.
Love,
Cornel and Gabi Stef
Condolence from: Pastor Pavel Petihachniy
Our dear beloved sister Violet, and whole Talmage family,
Please accept our deepest condolences from the bottom of our hearts in regard to the loss of your husband and loved one Ray Talmage. We know and feel your pain that you have in your hearts. We have constantly been praying with our families and our churches for brother Ray, that the Lord would heal him. We don’t know why He allowed this great loss, but we believe that the Lord will comfort your hearts and souls. We chose these verses to be a comfort for you:
2 Timothy 4:7-8
“7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.”
With all love and condolences,
On behalf of all the PIEI national missionaries in Ukraine,
Pastor Pavel Petihacinai
