2009 PIEI Annual Conference and Banquet
The Annual PIEI Conference was held on Friday and Saturday November 6-7, 2009
Location: Midwest Bible Church in Chicago
A UNIQUE APPROACH TO MISSIONS:
-There were five special missions' workshops that were taught by Mr. Werner Mischke, Executive Vice President of Mission ONE
The workshops were very informative, with an amazing interaction between the speaker and the participants, great handouts and practical exercises on subjects such as:
-listening
-trust
-both/and (cultural differences)
-abiding
-appreciation
applying to our relationship with the nationals, learning to relate better for an increase in the ministry effectiveness
The Banquet and Special Service
The Guest Speaker was Mark Elfstrand, Morning Host/Executive Mornings Producer on WMBI / Moody Radio with Special Music a blend of ethnic flavors, with African, Spanish, and Romanian singers.
The delicious meal was once again home made by the Romanian-Ukraine Partnership Committee.
