The Stefs at the WMP
Visiting the World Missionary Press

Cornel and Gabriela Stef visited the World Missionary Press in New Paris, Indiana, at the invitation of Ron Link, whom they met at the COSIM conference in Grand Rapids, MI.

"World Missionary Press is an interdenominational literature ministry producing topical Scripture booklets in more than 327 languages, plus Bible study booklets, New Testaments, and salvation coloring books in a variety of languages."(quote from WMP President's page).
The press has been in ministry for 47 years, providing tools useful for evangelism and discipleship free of charge for evangelists, pastors, and other Christian workers in many countries and islands around the world.

The Stefs were given a tour of the facility, seeing first hand the production of the printed material in all the stages, from the gigantic rolls of paper to the finishing touches on a new Spanish New Testament that was being done, to the boxed booklets stored on shelves and ready for delivery. They enjoyed seeing the many volunteers who work there, many of

them traveling for hours from their home towns to come to New Paris and help out at the Printing Press.

Cornel Stef gave a message to the staff and volunteer workers during their chapel time. His goal was to encourage and thank them for their worthy service for the Lord.

Brother Ron shared his interest in partnering with PIE in a common vision of seeing printing presses installed and run by nationals, producing their own literature. He expressed his interest in traveling to Romania together with his wife Bev as a first possible location to start this partnership. The Youth Center that is a project starting in Alba Iulia, Romania this summer would be the location where a Printing Press would be part of that ministry. Both Cornel and Ron are visionaries who are enjoying the common desire to equip nationals with the much needed literature in their own language.
